Baseball Fields
We may well be the only campground with a Major League
Baseball field! Use of the Major League Field is by reservation only.
(Fee and insurance required.)
Our Little League field (foreground) is available for use
by our registered guests at no charge when it is not rented for a game.

The Fossil Pit is located behind
the pools. It is a big hole in the ground that looks like a meteor hit! You
are guaranteed to find a brachiopod and perhaps a trilobite or cephalopod. At
1800' above sea level it is hard to imagine that Beaver Valley was once under
water. |

some sundries and supplies.

There is a small heron rookery
at the edge of one of the ponds. We often see a lone heron feeding at our stocked
pond or flying low over the campground. |
Yes, there really are beaver at Beaver
Valley. The lodge on our protected pond is active and the dam is maintained by
these skilled engineers. |

Paddle Boat & Row Boat Rental. The boats are available for rent during certain times only. Check
with the office when you arrive for the schedule.
