Cooperstown is located in the Central Leatherstocking Region of upstate New York. It is 70 miles west of Albany and only 30 miles south of the New York State Thruway. Beaver Valley is approximately 5 miles south of Cooperstown off State Rt. 28.

From the West (Niagara Falls, Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Utica) Via Toll Road:
(RV's: There is a huge hill between Mohawk and Richfield Springs.) 
bulletTake the New York State Thruway (I-90) to Exit 30 (Herkimer)
bulletTake State Route 28 South into Cooperstown.
bulletTurn right at "T" intersection and continue to follow State Route 28 South approximately 4 miles.
bulletGo past McDonalds, Pizza Hut & traffic light.
bulletTake next right onto Seminary Rd.
bulletFollow Seminary Rd. 1½ miles to "T" junction.
bulletTurn left on Towers Rd.
bulletBeaver Valley is 1 mile on left.

From the West (RVs, Trailers) To Avoid most of the Toll and the Hill:

bulletIn Syracuse, follow I-81 South to Route 20 East.
bulletIn Richfield Springs, take State Route 28 South into Cooperstown.
bulletTurn right at "T" intersection and continue to follow State Route 28 South approximately 4 miles.
bulletGo past McDonalds, Pizza Hut & traffic light.
bulletTake next right onto Seminary Rd.
bulletFollow Seminary Rd. 1½ miles to "T" junction.
bulletTurn left on Towers Rd.
bulletBeaver Valley is 1 mile on left.

bulletTake the New York State Thruway (I-90) to Utica.
bulletTake Route 8 South to Route 20 East.
bulletIn Richfield Springs, take Route 28 South into Cooperstown.
bulletTurn right at "T" intersection and continue to follow State Route 28 South approximately 4 miles.
bulletGo past McDonalds, Pizza Hut & traffic light.
bulletTake next right onto Seminary Rd.
bulletFollow Seminary Rd. 1½ miles to "T" junction.
bulletTurn left on Towers Rd.
bulletBeaver Valley is 1 mile on left.

From the East (Albany, New England):

bulletFollow Mass Turnpike (I-90) West to New York State
bulletStay on I-90 West through Albany (the tolls are cheaper)
bulletFollow I-90 West to the 2nd Schenectady exit--Exit 25A. You will see signs for I-88 toward Binghamton.
bulletFollow I-88 a good hour or so into Oneonta (enjoy the scenery!)
bulletTake Exit 17 and Follow State Route 28 North 12-13 miles
bulletGo past the Cooperstown Dreams Park on your right.
bulletTake next left onto Seminary Rd.
bulletFollow Seminary Rd. 1½ miles to "T" junction.
bulletTurn left on Towers Rd.
bulletBeaver Valley is 1 mile on left.

From the South (Binghamton, The Poconos):

bulletFollow I-88 East into Oneonta
bulletTake Exit 17 and Follow State Route 28 North 12-13 miles
bulletGo past the Cooperstown Dreams Park on your right.
bulletTake next left onto Seminary Rd.
bulletFollow Seminary Rd. 1½ miles to "T" junction.
bulletTurn left on Towers Rd.
bulletBeaver Valley is 1 mile on left.

From New York City:  To Avoid the Catskill Mountains:
bulletFollow the NYS Thruway North to Exit 21.
bulletFollow Rt. 23 West to Rt. 145 North.
bulletFollow Rt. 145 North for about 1½ hours to Interstate 88 in Cobleskill.
bulletFollow I-88 West into Oneonta.
bulletTake Exit 17 and Follow State Route 28 North 12-13 miles
bulletGo past the Cooperstown Dreams Park on your right.
bulletTake next left onto Seminary Rd.
bulletFollow Seminary Rd. 1½ miles to "T" junction.
