Some things you should know before you arrive


CAMPSITES:   Check in after 3PM  --  Check out is before Noon

RENTAL UNITS:   Check in after 3PM  --  Check out is before 10AM

DEPOSIT/REFUND POLICY

CAMPSITES:

DEPOSIT POLICY
6 nights or more: 3 Night deposit at time of reservation.
Less than 6 nights: 1 night deposit at time of reservation.
Balance due 5 days prior to arrival.
Hall of Fame Weekend: Payment in full at time of reservation.

REFUND POLICY
Cancel more than 5 days before arrival - full refund minus $20 handling fee.
No Refunds for Hall of Fame Weekend.

CAMPING CABINS:

DEPOSIT POLICY
Reservations made prior to March 1:
$100 at time of reservation.  Balance due by March 15.
Reservations made after March 1: Full payment at time of reservation.
Hall of Fame Weekend: Payment in full at time of reservation.

REFUND POLICY
No refunds
unless Camping Cabin is rerented less a $25 handling fee.

LOG CABINS,  HOUSES,  BEAVER VALLEY'S CAMPER:

DEPOSIT POLICY
Reservations made prior to March 1:
$250 at time of reservation.  Balance due by March 15.
Reservations made after March 1: Full payment at time of reservation.

REFUND POLICY
No refunds
unless Unit is rerented less a $100 handling fee

GROUP TENTING:

DEPOSIT POLICY
$25 non-refundable deposit at time of reservation. Balance due in 30 days.

REFUND POLICY
$25 cancellation fee

BUNKHOUSE:

DEPOSIT POLICY
$100 non-refundable deposit at time of reservation. Balance due in 30 days.

REFUND POLICY
$100 cancellation fee

SECURITY/CLEANING DEPOSIT

$150 PER UNIT

Log Cabin Trailers and Houses require a Security Deposit for all stays over 4 days.  The unit  will be inspected upon your departure.
You will be charged for anything missing or damaged and for any excessive cleaning.
If an animal is brought into the unit, you will forfeit the entire $150. 
Your Security Deposit will be returned within 10 days of departure.

VISITOR POLICY

Only registered overnight guests are allowed on the grounds.
Visitors are not allowed at the Campsite, Cabins, Houses, or anywhere else on Beaver Valley grounds.
  (We may make exceptions on an individual basis.)
Visitors are not allowed at pools, playground, etc.
Authorized Visitor Fee:  $5 per person up to $20 per family

There will be a $20 per person fee for any unauthorized visitors.

SPECIAL NOTE FOR DREAMS PARK FAMILIES:
We never allow team parties.
Your child and/or spouse who are staying at the Dreams Park are considered part of your family
and are not treated as visitors. They may come and go as you please.
Your child and/or spouse may enjoy the full use of Beaver Valley facilities including pools, playground, pond, etc.
If there will be an additional car, please have your spouse stop in the office to get a car pass.
Glimmerglass State Park has facilities for team parties: swimming, covered pavilion, grills, etc.

Barnyard Swing Mini-golf also has facilities for team parties.

QUIET HOUR

10 PM - 8 AM
We strictly enforce Quiet Hours.
(If you don't think you can abide by our Quiet Hours, please consider staying elsewhere.
Seriously! Beaver Valley may not be the best place for your stay!)

  After 10 PM:
Radios must be turned off completely.  No outside TVs.
No loud cackling.  Please use your library voice.
All children must be with you at your site.
Playground is closed.
All visitors must leave.

PETS

Pets are not allowed in or at the Camping Cabins, Log Cabin Trailers, Bunkrooms or Houses.
Visitors are not allowed to bring pets.
Fee $2 per pet per night

If you bring a pet inside, you will forfeit your entire Security Deposit.  If that happens, you'll be really mad and I'll be really mad and it will really ruin everything... Really.

Pets are welcome at the Campsites with the following strict guidelines:>
bulletA rabies certificate (a piece of paper not just the tag) must be presented at registration.
bulletMust be on a leash at all times even when walking in the woods or fields.
bulletCan never be left unattended at the site unless inside a camper or vehicle or crate.
bulletCannot be a nuisance.
bulletMust be promptly and thoroughly cleaned up after.
bulletNot allowed in or around any of the buildings or common areas such as the playground, pool, store, etc.

LINEN POLICY

We provide linens for an additional fee for 3-7 night rentals during our peak season only.  We cannot provide linens after Labor Day.

We do not exchange dirty linens for clean linens during your stay.  There are two coin operated laundromats  in the campground.

Linens Include:  2 Sheets per Bed, 1 Blanket per Bed, Pillowcase for each Pillow, 3 Bath Towels Per Person, 3 Hand Towels Per Person, 3 Face Cloths Per Person, 1 Pool Towel per person, 6 Dish Cloths.

Fee:  $75 for up to 4 people.  $20 per person over 4.

POOLS

Pools are generally open Memorial Day weekend though Labor Day weekend depending upon the weather. We have No Lifeguard on Duty. 2 adults must be present at the pool (inside the pool fence) in order for it to be in use.  You do not need to know the other adult but there must be 2 present.  Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian while at the pool (This is a NY State law)

WiFi

We offer free WiFi throughout the campground including the following areas: 
CAMPSITES: Areas "A", "B", "C", "E"     Some "T" sites also catch the WiFi
LOG CABIN TRAILERS:  All 2 bedroom units and all 1 bedroom units that are in the Main Campground area.
All 1 bedroom units in the Apple Grove Area and the Keystone Kabin.
HOUSES:  There is no internet access at the Gray, Blue and Hart Houses.
LAUNDROMATS:  There is WiFi at both Laundromats
BUNKS: All Bunkhouses have WiFi
POOLS, PLAYGROUND, BALLFIELDS.

BOAT RENTALS

Paddle Boat, Rowboat:  All boats must be signed out at the office and the rental fee paid prior to use.  Lifejackets will be provided and must be worn at all times.  Boats are only available during the posted hours.
You can bring your own non-motorized rowboat, canoe or kayak to use on our ponds. (No gas or electric motors).  You must wear a lifejacket at all times and an adult must be in the boat at all times.  Please let us know in advance if you will be bringing a boat.

BASEBALL FIELDS

The Little League Field is available for registered overnight guests to use free of charge unless it is rented for a game or it is closed for maintenance or due to weather.  When in doubt, please ask at the office.
The Little League Field can be reserved by contacting the office, paying the fee and providing a Certificate of Insurance.

The Major League Field is available by reservation only.  There is a fee to use the Major League Field and you must provide a Certificate of Insurance.  Call us for details on how to rent the Major League Field.

OFF-SEASON COMMENTS
(before Memorial Day and after Labor Day)

Please understand that we have children at home and they need carting around the countryside.
When we are open during our off season, we are short on staff and have limited office and store hours.

Should you arrive when the office is closed:

bulletchoose from the available sites that are listed
bulletcome down during our posted hours or slide your payment under the door in the envelope provided
bulletplease make yourself at home
If you need us for any reason, we live on site. Directions for getting in touch with us (where we can be found and our cell phone number) will be posted on the office door.
We sometimes do not open or close exactly on the date we post.  If the weather is cold, we may open later or close earlier.  2002 we had snow on May 17!  Please call first if you would like to visit near our opening or closing dates.
